Rafael D´Avila Dutra

Rafael Dutra joined Dias Carneiro Advogados in 2002.

Rafael has broad experience regarding commercial law, particularly in the M&A and financial areas. He has recently taken part in the following transactions: financing infrastructure projects in Brazil, financing multinational companies with subsidiaries in Brazil, and acquisition by multinationals of controlling stakes in Brazilian companies.

He advised the developers in two project finance transactions awarded by Project Finance Magazine of Euromoney with the prizes Latin American Renewable Energy Deal of the Year 2005 and Latin American Renewable Energy Deal of the Year 2006.

According to PLC Which Lawyer 2008, Rafael “is praised for his involvement in some of the country's most significant project finance matters in the energy sector, and in particular in the renewable energy field”.
