Our lawyers advise on several phases of generation, distribution, transmission and wholesale trading of electricity; representing clients before the Brazilian National Electricity Agency - ANEEL - in public bids and concessions. These include the submission of offers, the setting up of consortia and the negotiation and drafting of shareholders’ agreements in addition to the review of concession contracts.

We have broad experience in financing projects relating to infrastructures in the energy sector, such as bridging loans, stand-by letters, letters of credit, financing through bank syndicates and the National Bank of Economic and Social Development (BNDES). We also advise companies on their participation in the Incentives for Alternative Energies Programme (Proinfa).
